MOSTAR, March 3 (Hina) - President of the HDZ BiH Ante Jelavic told reporters Friday he did not want Croatia to have problems with the international community because the Bosnian Croat National Assembly proclaimed a temporary Croat
self-government in areas mostly populated by Bosnian Croats. "This is our responsibility," Jelavic said. According to him, the Assembly decision is not contrary to the Constitution of Bosnia-Herzegovina nor to the Constitution of the Bosnian Federation. "These decisions are not radical and extreme solutions, but rather an instrument of protecting Croat interests in Bosnia". Jelavic expressed readiness for talks with the international community, because he deems that the establishment of the temporary Croat self-government is not a final solution.(hina) lml
