SPLIT, Feb 21 (Hina) - Commenting on Wednesday's events regarding retired general Mirko Norac, the president of the Main Headquarters for the Protection of the Dignity of the Homeland Defence War, Mirko Condic, said it was obvious the
latest decision of the Hague tribunal was a political one, adding that "the pressure by the Croatian people and public has been taken into account in the political trade between the Croatian government and The Hague." General Norac is not going to The Hague, but this does not solve the problem, because as long as one is being indicted for defending one's homeland, we can and will not stop our activities, Condic told Hina. The Homeland Defence War is persistently being criminalised and a referendum will be organised so that the Croatian people and citizens can voice their opinion about this. We believe this is the fairest thing to do, Condic concluded.(hina) it
