ZAGREB, Feb 21 (Hina) - Croatian Public Works, Reconstruction and Construction Radimir Cacic said Wednesday 250 million kuna, secured from loans by business banks, would temporarily finance the construction of highways in Croatia and
pay back loans by April 1, when a new Croatian roads company will be founded. Cacic told Hina his suggestion on the temporary financing of roads through business bank loans was adopted by the government at last week's session. The new Croatian roads company, to be founded on April 1, will take over construction works and the financing of works on highways, Cacic said. For works and services rendered last year 128 million kuna has been envisaged, while 122 million kuna will be allocated for financing works in the first trimester of this year, the minister said.(hina) lml
