ZAGREB, Feb 19 (Hina) - The presidency of parliament's Internal Affairs and National Security Committee will consider this week the demands from a letter nine retired generals forwarded the Committee last Friday, chairwoman Djurdja Adlesic told Hina on Monday. After the Committee's presidency has considered the demands, Adlesic will meet Prime Minister Ivica Racan and request his opinion. Said letter demands a complete and systematic protection of the Homeland Defence War, Croatia's early 1990s war of independence from the former Yugoslav federation. Adlesic told Hina most demands did not lay within the competence of the Internal Affairs and National Security Committee.
