ZAGREB, Feb 15 (Hina) - Thursday's House of Representatives session was adjourned after a physical clash between Ljugo Cesic Rojs of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) and Dino Debeljuh of the Istrian Democratic Assembly. Deputy
parliamentary speaker Mato Arlovic requested Rojs to leave the session, which Rojs failed to do, forcing Arlovic to adjourn. The clash was the result of Debeljuh's quoting during the session from Glas Istre daily that "Rojs threatened to have Norac killed." Mirko Norac is a retired general suspected of war crimes committed against civilians in 1991. Earlier today Rojs was reprimanded for insulting national minorities. HDZ president Ivo Sanader distanced himself from Rojs' statements, adding it was not the position of the strongest opposition party and that HDZ considered all national minorities a part of Croatia's riches.(hina) ha sb
