ZAGREB, Jan 23 (Hina) - In 2000, Croatia's currency, the kuna, gained 1.1 percent in value in relation to the euro, but lost 6.7% against the US dollar and 1.3% against the currency basket, the Croatian National Bank (HNB) said on
Tuesday. According to HNB's central rate of 31 Dec. 2000, one euro was worth 7.598334 kuna, against 7.691860 kuna on 31 Dec. 1999, while one US dollar was worth 8.155344 kuna against 7.643705 kuna on 31 Dec. 1999.
