LJUBLJANA, Jan 9 (Hina) - For quite some time, Slovenia's official structures have not been so willing to solve open issues with Croatia, and Ljubljana has already sent Zagreb some motions on the solving of those issues and is now
expecting Croatia's reactions, Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel said Tuesday. It is believed that Rupel's statement is a reaction to the words Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula said while addressing students of the Zagreb Diplomatic Academy Monday. Picula said Slovenia obstructed the solving of the Piran Bay issue by insisting on access to the open sea. According to Rupel, Croatia and Slovenia do not have a territorial dispute but only need to carry out a technical task of concluding the establishment and marking of the border. Should the two parties fail to reach an agreement, Rupel believes mediation of a third party should be requested.(hina) it
