ZAGREBACKA BANKA RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS TECHNOLOGY AWARD

ZAGREB, Jan 12 (Hina) - Zagrebacka banka, Croatia's leading bank, has received The Local 2000 Enterprise Computing Award for technological business advancement which is presented by SAS, a private software company. Representatives of Zagrebacka banka received the award from SAS Slovenia, which covers Slovenia, Croatia and Macedonia, at a regular SAS Club conference in Maribor, northern Slovenia. Zagrebacka banka is the first on this territory to fully meet the main criterion, the business value of a used solution, as well as the quality criterion in using SAS programme tools and integration into the bank's existing system, the expanse of application in the bank, and the quality of the bank's relations with SAS. The technological business advancement via SAS tools has had a direct effect on a better quality of services, Zagrebacka banka said. As an SAS award winner, the bank will also compete for this year's SAS International Enterprise Computing Award in Florence in May, presented annually for the territory of Europe and the Middle East. SAS was established in 1976 and provides companies with a variety of software tools for the integration, analysis and presentation of data from various sources.
