Zagreb, Jan 2 (Hina) - A Croatian member of parliament and a leader of the Liberal Party, Tereza Ganza Aras, died at Monday midnight of an acute disease of liver, in the 'Rebro' hospital in Zagreb. Mrs. Ganza Aras was transported to
the Rebro hospital from her town of Zadar a few days ago after she slipped into a coma. Prior to that she went to her doctors in Zadar believing that she was having flu. Unfortunately, doctors established the acute hepatitis C. Mrs Tereza Ganza Aras, a university professor, was born in 1937, in Kasteli (near Split). In 1971 she was employed as an assistant lecturer with the Sociology Department of the Faculty of Philosophy in the coastal town of Zadar. She worked in the Zadar-based History Institute of the Croatian Academy of Arts and Sciences (HAZU) for some time. In 1990s she came back to the Faculty of Philosophy. She was elected a member of parliament and served two terms of office in the
