MOSTAR, Dec 30 (Hina) - A Bosniak has been placed in custody pending a criminal investigation after a large number of weapons was found during a search of his home in Konjic as part of the Andjelic family murder investigation, police
sources said Monday.

Three members of the Bosnian Croat family, Andjelic, near Konjic,
were killed by a religious fanatic, Muamer Topalovic, a member of
two radical Islamic organisations for which the police believe
could be connected with religious extremism.
A Herzegovina-Neretva Canton police statement says that seven
machine guns, 26 detonators and a large amount of ammunition.
As the cantonal prosecution's office in Mostar requested, police
have searched ten facilities in the Konjic municipality and
confiscated documents "with the aim of establishing possible
connections between the suspect and other persons acting in other
organisations in the Konjic area".
