Pursuant to the signing of the agreement and its ratification in
CEFTA countries and Croatia, a market of about 100 million people
will open up to Croatia.
It is realistic to expect Croatia to become a full CEFTA member in
the first quarter of next year.
Croatian Economy Minister Ljubo Jurcic signed the agreement on
joining the CEFTA with Ambassador Viktor Vulkov (Bulgaria) and
state secretaries Miroslav Somol (Czech Republic), Andras Barsony
(Hungary), Malgorzata Okonska-Zaremba (Poland), Adrian Mitu
(Rumania), Eva Simkova (Slovakia) and Renata Vitez (Slovenia).
