SARAJEVO, Dec 4 (Hina) - The head of the Islam community in Bosnia-

Leading a traditional prayer service in Sarajevo's mosque on the
occasion of the Bayram, Ceric said that all Muslims who had fasted
during the Ramadan month now had to use their revived strength for
personal rebirth and strengthening of moral values in the society.
Ceric said that all true faithful should show that the Islam was a
faith which advocated tolerance and goodness, which is a foundation
for the establishment of a multi-ethnic society such as Bosnia.
He described as unacceptable the increasingly radical
interpretation of the Islam "imported" into Bosnia, which imposes
new and previously unknown customs to Bosnian Muslims, at the same
time forbidding the practising of customs which were part of their
tradition for centuries.
Ceric harshly denounced all those who advocate and implement
terrorism on behalf of Islam, stressing that this was a dangerous
abuse of faith which had no foundation in the Book of Kur'an.
