BELGRADE BELGRADE, Nov 26 (Hina) - Yugoslav and Albanian foreign ministers Goran Svilanovic and Ilir Meta signed an agreement on economic and other forms of co-operation on the first day of Meta's official visit to Belgrade. The two
officials announced the signing of an free trade agreement between the two countries.

Meta and Svilanovic signed an agreement on abolishing visas for
diplomatic and official passports, mutual protection of
investment, cooperation in health and medical science fields as
well as an agreement on co-operation between the Yugoslav Chamber
of Commerce and the Union of Trade and Industry of Albania.
The two ministers spoke about the two countries' relations, their
position in the region and on joint aspirations to become part of
European and Euro-Atlantic associations as well as their intention
to commence negotiations in 2003 on association and stabilisation
with European Union.
