Tomcic recalled that Zagreb and Beijing established diplomatic
relations ten years ago. So far, the two countries have signed a
series of agreements, thus creating a legal framework for bilateral
cooperation, the statement said.
Tomcic and his guest voiced hope that a bilateral agreement on
tourist cooperation would be concluded soon.
Tomcic described parliamentary cooperation as very well developed.
He voiced hope that the excellent political ties would help promote
economic cooperation.
Languing said he was satisfied with his visit to Croatia.
China was among the first countries to recognise the independent
Croatia and Zagreb supports the policy of one China.
China's delegation announced the possibility of setting up an
institute for Chinese medicine in Croatia.
