The Hague investigators asked concrete and exhausting questions
relating to the role Admiral Domazet had as the chief of the
military-intelligence service regarding the Medak Pocket
operation, Seric told journalists.
Seric pointed out that Admiral Domazet's responses did not violate
anyone's interest, neither the interest of his service that he
headed at the time nor Croatian interests.
He emphasised that the talks were held in normal and correct tones.
Asked by reporters what the admiral had been suspected of, Seric
said that the admiral was suspected of violating Article 7 of the
Hague Tribunal's Statute which entails direct command
responsibility.
"We deny any such possibility that is not only disputable but
impossible, Seric said pointing out that as the chief of the
military-intelligence service, at not one moment Domazet could or
was allowed to give any orders.
Domazet also pointed out that as the chief of the intelligence
service cannot be held responsible for command responsibility
because he did not give any orders.
After reporters insisted an explanation what he was actually
suspected of, Domazet replied that he had not yet been told.
