Picula is on a one-day visit to Germany, where he will also meet
Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer.
The Croat and his German hosts are expected to discuss
parliamentary cooperation, bilateral issues, the strengthening of
economic cooperation, Zagreb's drawing closer to the European
Union and NATO, and Croatia's cooperation with the U.N. war crimes
tribunal in The Hague.
One of the topics of Picula's German talks should be an increase in
German investments in Croatia, particularly in tourism. Germany is
the third biggest investor in Croatia.
