PRISTINA, Nov 4 (Hina) - A special envoy of the UN's secretary-general for human rights, Jose Cutilerio, currently on a three-day visit to Kosovo, on Monday spoke with officials regarding the issue of missing persons, the return of
displace persons, the security situation and other aspects of human rights in Kosovo and expressed satisfaction with progress made.
PRISTINA, Nov 4 (Hina) - A special envoy of the UN's secretary-
general for human rights, Jose Cutilerio, currently on a three-day
visit to Kosovo, on Monday spoke with officials regarding the issue
of missing persons, the return of displace persons, the security
situation and other aspects of human rights in Kosovo and expressed
satisfaction with progress made. #L#
"I'm impressed with the achievements in Kosovo in the work of the
Kosovo parliament," Cutilerio said following talks with the
president of Kosovo's Parliament, Nexhat Daci.
Cutilerio also met a member of the parliament's presidency, Oliver
Ivanovic, who stated that he had informed his guest of Serb
priorities in Kosovo and these were security, freedom of movement,
disclosing the fate of missing Serb nationals, the return of
displaced persons and economic development in Serb circles.
During his stay in Kosovo, Cutilerio will meet with representatives
of numerous non-government organisations and associations
involved with human rights and the fate of missing persons during
the Kosovo war.
