POLICE INTERVIEWS NEARING END IN PAULIN DVOR CASE

OSIJEK, Oct 24 (Hina) - Police have nearly completed interviewing people who may be able to provide specific information regarding war crimes in Paulin Dvor, outside Osijek, where 19 Serb civilians were killed in 1991, Osijek-Baranja Police reported on Wednesday. They could not say how many people have been interviewed so far, because the interviews were being held simultaneously in Osijek and Zagreb. A woman's corpse was exhumed last week at a cemetery in Trpinje in Vukovar-Srijem County (eastern Croatia). She was identified as D.V., born in 1934. Investigators of the Hague-based international war crimes tribunal discovered the bodies of 18 civilians killed in Paulin Dvor, in a mass grave near Gospic (central Croatia).
