After the meeting, the ministers of agriculture presented the goals
of the two countries' ministries.
Good relations between the ministries are a condition for a
stronger economic spirit and trade, Croatia's Bozidar Pankretic
said. He pointed to the need of merging into regional companies,
among other things, due to the stronger presence of multinational
companies in the region.
Serbia's Dragan Veselinov said the deals Croatia and Serbia were to
sign would considerably advance cooperation in agricultural
production and the processing industry. One of the Serbian
government's goals is to subject as many products as possible to the
duty-free regime, tariff concessions, or the regime of growing
quotas.
