Simonic attended a seminar entitled "Dialogue of Scientists in
Southeastern Europe" organised on the 10th anniversary of the
Croatian Humboldt Club which gathers 165 scientists from Croatia
who had received scholarships from the foundation.
Simonic said that the Croatian higher education should be
harmonised with European, but not by copying any European system,
because Croatia should be a part of the world, but should not lose
its individuality and tradition.
