"We are using exclusively legal procedures allowed by the
Tribunal's Statute and we are prepared to accept the court's
decision, Picula told journalists in relation to Croatia's dispute
with the Hague-based tribunal regarding General Bobetko following
a meeting with Danish Foreign Minister Per Stig Moller.
According to Picula, Croatia's cooperation with the U.N. war crimes
tribunal is unquestionable. He said that during her latest visit to
Croatia, Chief Prosecutor Carla Del Ponte said that Croatia had
completed 97 percent of the conditions set by the Hague-based
tribunal.
On Monday the EU reacted to Croatia's dispute with the Hague
Tribunal with regard to General Bobetko and warned that Croatia
must co-operate with the Hague regardless of national
legislation.
