ZAGREB, Sept 10 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula is travelling to the US on Tuesday to attend the 57th UN General Assembly session in New York and the commemoration to the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist
attacks.

Assembly session in New York and the commemoration to the victims of

While in the United States, Picula will hold bilateral meetings
with the foreign ministers of Spain, Hungary, the Czech Republic,
Norway, Yugoslavia, Austria, and Iran, among others.
Picula will also meet the US state secretary's assistant for Europe
and Eurasia, Elisabeth Jones, and attend numerous events organised
by world leaders and UN officials.
Picula will open a Croatian consulate in New Orleans.
