"The relations are not critical because our countries have
continuous dialogue and the atmosphere after recent incidents in
Piran Bay is calming again," Rupel said at a news conference,
commenting on relations with Croatia.
According to him, the European Union did not set the border issue
with Croatia as Slovenia's condition to join the European Union.
"The majority of European countries is convinced that Slovenia did
what it could to calm the situation. All open issues with Croatia
are of a short-term character in principle. The long term solutions
will be achieved after the two countries join the European Union,"
Rupel said.
