In its written request, the association says that the ban on the
peaceful and dignified protest of dismissed policemen is illegal
and unfounded, and the policemen have been deprived of their right
to legally and legitimately fight for their rights.
The association also sent Racan a list of 81 names of dismissed
police officers who did not have the necessary education level or
have acquired the necessary qualifications in the meantime, who
should remain in the police force because of their merits.
The association stresses that these are mainly volunteers who
fought in the Homeland War from the very beginning, who were awarded
medals, and were without any disciplinary proceedings or charges
filed against them.
