The parents of some 30 Croat pupils who attend the Drzimurec primary
school along with 127 Romany children, on Monday locked the school
doors to pressurise the education ministry to reorganise
classrooms.
The parents of non-Romany pupils requested that their children take
classes in two classrooms, with several advanced Romany pupils,
while the other Romany students would be organised in five other
classrooms.
The education ministry should be delivering a written decision on
Wednesday morning, after which the parents will unlock the entrance
to the school, a parents' representative, Josip Tizaj, said.
