JOHANNESBURG: PRESIDENT MESIC MEETS BOSNIAN DELEGATION

JOHANNESBURG, Sept 2 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic, who is taking part in the UN World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg, on Monday met a Bosnian delegation, headed by the Chairman of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Council of Ministers, Dragan Mikerevic. #L# The two sides expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations, particularly with the fact that the solution to the border dispute at Kostajnica was found relatively quickly and to mutual satisfaction, said Mesic's advisor on foreign affairs, Tomislav Jakic. Jakic said that there were still issues which had to be solved, such as the problem of the Ploce port, property restitution, and dual citizenship. As both sides are willing to solve those issues, President Mesic and the Bosnian delegation expressed confidence their settlement would further advance bilateral relations, Jakic said. (hina) rml sb
