ZAGREB, Sept 1 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Sunday left for the Republic of South Africa to participate in the work of UN's summit on sustainable development in Johannesburg, the President's Office reported.

Alongside more than 100 heads of state, Mesic will take part in the
final part of the biggest conference in the UN's history, with a
total of 60,000 participants expected.
Mesic is leading a Croatian delegation consisting of Environment
Protection Minister Bozo Kovacevic, Finance Minister Mato
Crkvenac, members of the parliamentary committee for environmental
protection and Croatian Reconstruction and Development Bank
president, Anton Kovacev.
