The flag was lifted by a Croatian officer.
Present at this ceremony were Deputy Prime Minsiter Goran Granic,
Defence Minister Zeljka Antunovic and delegations of the President
of the Republic and Sabor.
Defence Minister Antunovic called on the Croatian people to show
unity regardless of, as she said, differences in the opinion,
political stands and views of life.
This is the only way for Croatia to be better, she added.
In response to reporters' questions, Minister Antunovic said she
did not expect "hot political autumn" but she promising that there
would be "hot working autumn".
She disagreed with a reporter's statement that nothing had been
improved in Knin. She reposnded that "in Knin things are moving
slowly, but they are moving, like elsewhere in Croatia."
Prior to this ceremony, a solemn mass was said in St. Anthony's
church in the town.
