KARLOVAC, August 2 (Hina) - Police in the Croatian town of Karlovac
(50 kilometres south-west of Zagreb) on Friday arrested and brought
a man to an investigating judge on suspicion of bringing several
girls from Ukraine and keeping them detained and forcing them to
prostitution. #L#
According to practise established recently, the state prosecutor
did not release any details about the suspect charged with serious
bodily harm of a 22 year old Ukraine citizen N. F.
The charges indicate that during the investigation, it was
ascertained that the suspect brought several Ukraine female
citizens from Bosnia-Herzegovina and kept them detained in a rented
house in Karlovac where he forced them to prostitution.
The police noted that this Croatian citizen had the criminal record
for the same deeds.
