The bench's chief Vladimir Seks said it would be good that Racan
notify the parliament of all the aspects of the problem.
Sabor President Zlatko Tomcic advised Seks to propose his
initiative through the regular parliamentary procedure and after
that the parliament could consider whether it was possible for the
item to be added to the agenda of the ongoing extra-ordinary
session.
The strongest opposition party's president, Ivo Sanader,
criticised PM designate Racan and Sabor's head Tomcic for having
met Yugoslav Foreign Minister Goran Svilanovic after the
incident.
In Sanader's opinion, it was bad for Croatia's reputation, as
relevant ministers, i.e. foreign and interior ministers should
have gone to that meeting, Sanader said during a parliamentary
discussion on the programme and composition of the new Croatian
government.
