ZAGREB ZAGREB, July 27 (Hina) - A 16-year-old Turkish boy, Kandemir Ahmet, was killed and another nine foreigners, including four children, were injured in a car accident at the motorway in Zapresic, outside the Croatian capital, on
Friday night, the Zagreb police reported on Saturday.

The accident occurred when a Turkish driver, driving a car with
German licence plates lost control over the vehicle and clashed
with a van with Polish licence plates coming from the opposite
direction.
In the clash, one 14-year-old Turkish girl was seriously injured,
and grave injures were inflicted on the driver and another four
passengers, two of whom were children, in the Polish van.
The Turkish driver and another girl in his car were slightly hurt.
The injured were admitted to Zagreb hospitals. Embassies of Poland
and Turkey have been informed of the accident.
