ZAGREB, July 22 (Hina) - In response to conclusions stated by the

"In keeping with the agreement on the state border between Croatia
and BH signed July 30, 1999, the border between the two countries at
Hrvatska Kostajnica was determined on the Uncica canal. Aiming at
good neighbourly cooperation in resolving this issue Croatia
offered solutions that the relevant bodies in both countries
accepted that a common border crossing be built between the Una and
Uncica rivers. Croatia is prepared to sign a relevant annex to the
agreement on a common location which a combined border commission
already harmonised," notes the official not sent fro Zagreb to
Sarajevo.
The Foreign Ministry further notes that it is unacceptable that
some new conditions are now being presented regarding that border
crossing and there was no reason for BH to unilaterally limit the
Croatian government on its territory.
"If it is not acceptable for BH that a common border crossing be
constructed, Croatia then proposes a temporary or permanent
withdrawal from that intention and that each country build its own
crossing on its own territory. Common border crossings between the
two countries already exist in Metkovic, Neum and Arzano and
Kamesnko which have shown that customs services in both countries
can act efficiently on the territory of one or other state," the
official note by the Croatian Foreign Ministry says.
