HSLS KARLOVAC COUNTY BRANCH REACTS

KARLOVAC, July 17 (Hina) - It is not true as claimed in Tuesday's press release that the co-ordination of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), the Croatian Peasants' Party (HSS), the Croatian National Party (HNS) and the Liberal Party (LS) which until yesterday was in coalition with the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) in Karlovac, that the city branch of the HSLS should be excluded from the coalition because the party one-sidedly severed the county coalition, a press release by the HSLS on Wednesday said. #L# Apparently the county branch of HSLS was not in any formally signed coalition with these parties on the county level and many are aware that the HNS and the LS do not have their representatives in the county assembly, the press statement said. Coalition parties in the government in that town - the SDP, the HSS, the HNS and the LS reported on Tuesday that they no longer considered the HSLS a coalition partner in the town since that party one-sidedly severed the county coalition.
