During individual consultations over the past few days, Racan and
the remaining parliamentary party leaders, including MPs from the
Independent Liberals bench, who support the ruling coalition,
discussed the model and composition of the new government.
According to available information, Racan is still in favour of a
smaller government and is now seeking the consent of his political
partners.
Under the Constitution, Racan is to compose the new government and
gain parliament's support for it until August 9, however, people in
the know claim it is possible the composition and size of the
government could be known as early as next week.
A press release is expected after the meeting.
