The former head of the Yugoslav Army Security Administration,
Aleksandar Vasiljevic told Belgrade-based Beta news agency that
generals, led by replaced head of the Yugoslav Army Main Staff
Nebojsa Pavkovic, who stated those claims earlier, were telling the
truth.
Earlier, two retired Yugoslav Army senior officers - former head of
the Security Administration Milan Djakovic and head the Morale
Administration Milan Simic - who along with Vasiljevic attended the
meeting, confirmed Pavkovic's claims.
Vasiljevic said he did not comment on the event earlier because he
hoped an investigating commission would be formed to shed light on
the entire case. He said he was ready to testify and added there were
more witnesses who are active officers of the Yugoslav Army.
