ZAGREB, July 12 (Hina) - Croatian Justice, Government and Local Self-Government Minister Ingrid Anticevic-Marinovic on Friday held talks with the head of the UNHCR Mission in Zagreb, Oluseyi Bajulaiy, on the work of Croatian courts,
problems regarding the restitution of property and the situation in the Croatian Legislation and practice regarding the solving of the refugee status.

Self-Government Minister Ingrid Anticevic-Marinovic on Friday
held talks with the head of the UNHCR Mission in Zagreb, Oluseyi
Bajulaiy, on the work of Croatian courts, problems regarding the
restitution of property and the situation in the Croatian
Legislation and practice regarding the solving of the refugee

Minister Anticevic Marinovic informed the UNHCR official of her
ministry's attempts to make amendments to the distress law which
would simplify and accelerate the distress process. The amendments
aim at strengthening the position of creditors and preventing
defaulters from avoiding their obligations.
The two officials also agreed on cooperation between the ministry
and the UNHCR.
