The order in which consultations will be held is not known yet, but
it has been confirmed they would take place in two rounds, on Monday
and Tuesday.
Following Prime Minister Ivica Racan's resignation on Friday which
toppled the entire government, President Mesic will conduct
consultations and designate a person who enjoys the confidence of
all MPs in line with the organisation of seats in parliament.
This presidential discretion is envisaged in Article 97 of the
Croatian Constitution.
