It is possible to form a parliamentary majority which will provide
support to the future government in a more stable running of the
country until the completion of its mandate, Jakovcic said.
"Our primary goal is creating a programme unison for the
parliamentary majority, not participation in some functions and
the allocation of duties," he said.
Commenting on the crisis which arose after the ratification of the
Croatian-Slovene Krsko nuclear plant deal, which the Social
Liberals (HSLS) opposed, Jakovcic said the HSLS president, Drazen
Budisa, had definitely failed the test.
Budisa created a continuing crisis of the now former parliamentary
majority, and that crisis made it impossible for the Croatian state
to be stable, Jakovcic said, expressing hope that the crisis was
over.
