Talks addressed the advancement of economic cooperation,
particularly in industry, power supply, and shipbuilding, the
Croatian Economy Ministry said in a statement.
Greece called on Croatia to take part in regional power
distribution projects and the gas network for the transport of
natural gas from Caspian sources to western Europe.
The Greek side is also interested in participating in the
privatisation of the oil company INA and the Adriatic Pipeline. The
Greek company Hellenpetrolium has made an offer to purchase 25
percent plus one INA share.
Both sides agreed there was room for cooperation in high
technologies, renewable power sources, and the infrastructure.
Minister Vojkovic called on Greece to increase investing in
Croatia's industry and tourism.
