The 2001 profit is 205 percent higher than in 2000, Zagrebacka Banka
(ZABA) in Zagreb said today.
ZABA BiH's active assets in 2001 increased from 308 million to 570
million marks, an increase of 85 percent. Deposits rose by 91
percent, while loans increased by 38 percent. Return on capital was
16.14 percent.
The bank recently introduced a loan for the purchase of vehicles,
with the currently most favourable interest rate in Bosnia-
Herzegovina, 7.99 percent.
ZABA BiH has expanded its business network throughout the country,
including a recently opened office in the northern Brcko District.
