Stipetic said that in the past several years, an efficient and
professional peace-time army had been built on the foundations of
the Homeland War, and changes underway were aimed at accessing
western army associations.
By joining the Membership Action Plan Croatia has committed itself
to a faster development and modernisation of the Armed Forces,
which set as a condition a modern educated individual and trained
variously structured powers, Stipetic said. He added that in this
sense and in the interest of further development, in line with NATO
standards, the Croatian Armed Forces were obliged to create a new
training and education system of both the individual and troops.
He recalled killed, imprisoned and missing soldiers, all those who
built into the foundations of the homeland and the creation of the
Armed Forces as much as they had.
Stipetic wished army members much efficiency and prosperity in
their future professional work.
