The bodies, which surfaced in the past several days, including two
children, were autopsied in the presence of the deceased
immigrants' relatives who arrived from western European countries
which the immigrants were trying to reach.
Eight immigrants were found on the Croatian bank of the Sava, while
four were found on the Bosnian side.
According to four survivors, there were 16 persons in the boat which
overturned on the night between 13 and 14 May.
Although the search for the drowned immigrants ended yesterday
after the last of 12 bodies was discovered, Vukovar-Srijem County
police have continued patrolling the river as it is suspected that
there were more than 16 people in the boat.
