ZAGREB, May 16 (Hina) - Around half a million Croatians use the Internet, according to a poll conducted by 'Gfk Online Monitor', a centre for market research. The results of the poll, which was conducted among 6,034 respondents aged
between 10 and 74, have been published in the magazine 'Komunikacije'. According to the survey, some 720,000 citizens (i.e. 18 percent of the population) have access to the Internet. Sixty five (65) percent said they had access to the Internet at home. Only 22 percent of those 720,000 uses the Internet at work, while 13 percent has access to the Internet at other places. Over one third of the respondents (i.e. 35 percent) use the Internet several times a week.
