(HND) requested state prosecutor Radovan Ortynski, who has

alleged involvement in his replacement. The HND considers these
accusations groundless and offensive. #L#
Ortynski told a recent parliamentary session that "lobbying in the
media, which fabricated stories and encouraged people close to
organised crime" were among those responsible for his
replacement.
The HND said in a statement on Thursday said claim was not backed by
any evidence. Ortynski also said that "organised crime had its
people in the judiciary, prosecutor's offices, politics, and the
media (and that) some journalists were paid to publicly discredit
him," the HND statement said.
The HND maintains that elementary civic politeness and
professional duty call for Ortynski to provide arguments and
concrete examples to prove his grave accusations.
