Bishop Artemije told Steiner Kosovo Serbs had two priorities -
improving living conditions for those who stayed in Kosovo and
returning displaced Serbs to their homes.
Bishop Artemije said the position of Serbs had not improved since
the arrival of international forces in Kosovo. He advocated the
development of multiethnic institutions within Resolution 1244 of
the UN Security Council, as well as the implementation of the
Yugoslavia-UNMIK agreement dating 2001.
Steiner said the best ways for improving their position was Serb's
participation in new Kosovo structures, particularly Kosovo
government.
