Friday. #L#
among other issues, Pancic spoke about the problems relating to the
status of Croatian military war invalid (HRVI). From October 26,
2000 to December 7,2001, the Administrative Court received 319
complaints by veterans against decisions of the Veterans' ministry
commission, by which their HRVI status had been rescinded. Do far,
the court has solved 69 cases, 40 are being considered, and has
dismissed 29.
Pancic called the news conference in the light of the Kakariqi
case.
He announced the filing of an appeal before the Supreme Court
against a decision made by the Administrative Court in favour of
retired general Matko Kakariqi, restoring his HRVI status which the
government commission had rescinded last June.
