FIRST SESSION OF WORKING GROUP FOR RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAMME

VUKOVAR, April 9 (Hina) - The first session of a working group for drawing up a plan and programme for the reconstruction and development of Vukovar was held in this eastern Croatian town on Tuesday. #L# President of the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Vukovar, Diana Galic, said this was one of the most important documents for the future of the town. The document would define activities in the development and reconstruction of Vukovar from 2003 through 2008, in which period reconstruction of the town should be completed, and a healthy foundation for town created, she said. Of the 50 million kuna which the Fund has obtained this year, more than 50 percent of the funds will be directed towards economy projects, Galic said. (hina) lml sb
