A wide coalition in Vukovar is necessary for the restoration of
confidence, SNV president Milorad Pupovac told reporters.
Speaking about the allocation of state budget funds intended for
ethnic communities or minorities, Pupovac said the Serb community
had received 4.7 million kuna (EUR635,100) this year, which he said
was more than last year but still far below requirements.
He was satisfied Croatian-Yugoslav negotiations on the issue of
minorities had resumed, and voiced confidence an agreement would be
reached and key elements incorporated into a constitutional law on
the rights of ethnic communities or minorities.
