ZAGREB, April 2 (Hina) - The Constitutional Court has rejected as unfounded a constitutional complaint by Mirko Norac against a decision by the Supreme Court confirming a Rijeka County Court decision prolonging Norac's detention as
lawful.

unfounded a constitutional complaint by Mirko Norac against a
decision by the Supreme Court confirming a Rijeka County Court
decision prolonging Norac's detention as lawful. #L#
Rejecting the constitutional complaint by Norac, who is charged
with war crimes in Gospic in 1991, a five-member Constitutional
Court Council unanimously adopted the decision, saying that
pursuant to regulations and based on the law the relevant court
ascertained that legal conditions for prolonging detention still
existed.
Norac filed the complaint against the Supreme Court decision of
January 17 which rejected his complaint to a decision by Rijeka
County Court that prolonged his detention.
