Yugoslav Interior Minister Zoran Zivkovic said on Monday. #L#
"Whether extraditions will happen today, tomorrow during the night
or during the day is a technical matter. The schedule is not that
interesting, rather the political will and decision to accept
international obligations," Zivkovic said.
He added that Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica's stance about
the cooperation with the Hague-based international war crimes
tribunal was "politically important".
"I expect Kostunica to take on a stand which will be at least on the
path of political decisions not being made only for emotional
reasons, but rational, and for the future of the state to be placed
above a campaign for the next elections," he said.
Zivkovic announced a session of the federal government which should
end up with a decision on cooperation with the Hague-based
tribunal.
